As some of you know, my step brother, Dean, was in a motorcycle crash on Sunday. My mom called me and said he had been in a wreck and that Tom (Dean’s dad) and her were on their way up to the hospital in Asheville and Melanie (his wife) had already left. They didn’t know anything because the doctors couldn’t tell anything over the phone. I was really scared for them. My immediate response was to pray for God to watch over all of them. We got a call later that he was in intensive care, and had a bad concussion (he kept forgetting things he had just said) and possibly a broken arm. Thank God, he was alive and awake!
Evidently, he was riding with some of his friends when he lost control and crashed into a wall. He was wearing a helmet, but it was in terrible shape. They said that it was a miracle that he wasn’t hurt more. I was told today that everything looks normal on the cat scans they have done. He has a broken hand and a sprained foot. He’s still in a lot of pain, but his memory is improving.
I am so thankful that he’s okay. Thank you for your prayers.
